Rock & Roll Winter Workshop

Rock & Roll Winter Workshop is for students ages 11-17. This workshop gives students the chance to learn about being a musician, music theory, songwriting, concert production, promotion, presentation, music business, stage presence, instrument care, recording and producing live sound, networking, and music appreciation. The workshop will be held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Saturday, February 3 with the camp concluding in a concert on Sunday, March 4. This immersive program encourages guitarists, drummers, bassists, singers, keyboardists, and DJs of all skills will spend six days learning about taking their love of music to the next level. Students will be split into groups by their previous skill level: basic, intermediate, and advanced. Groups will form bands and will work on songs to perform for the end of workshop concert. Students should plan to bring any instruments/amplifiers they own to the workshop. If a child does not own any of their own instruments, a limited number will be available to borrow or students new to music will be trained in other various aspects of band and music management. Registration is $200 for the six days of fun.
