Annual Catfish Pirates Gathering & Tournament

Catfish Pirates gathering on may 28th, 2022. The gathering will start at 2pm at prairie creek reservoir shelter down at the beach area with additional tent set up. The gathering will consist of free door prizes and there will be some raffles as well. We are planning on a hog roast. We ask people that come please bring a side dish or dessert along with a chair to set in. This event is free! There will be a tournament on the reservoir for catfish from 8pm Saturday and ending on Sunday at 8am. We have the guys from the master bait and tackle catfish trail there to help with the weigh in. The cost of the tournament is $80 per boat with up to 3 people per boat. There will also be a bank tournament which is $60 per team with up to 3 people per team. All Indiana fishing laws will apply to this tournament. All fish must be kept live in a livewell or portable livewell or keep sack, no stringers. All fish will be released back into the reservoir! Currently we have a 1st place payout to the winning bank team of $500! The guaranteed 1st place payout for the winning boat team is $1,000 but could go up to $2,000. In addition to the tournament there will be a motorcycle ride that day with the riders ending at the start of the gathering. This is a benefit Tournament and a benefit motorcycle ride for the veterans in our area. We also have plans on WLBC being there at the event. More details to come!
