Annual Fall Fan Jam Event is Slated For August 20

The Ball State Department of Athletics is proud to announce its annual Fall Fan Jam event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20 at Scheumann Stadium. The event, which will run from 5 to 7 p.m., is free to everyone in the community.
The annual family friendly event will feature games and interactive stations for kids with Ball State student-athletes, poster signings, photo opportunities and a chance to take a look inside the football locker room. Corporate sponsors McDonald’s, Pepsi, Papa John’s, Texas Roadhouse, Jimmy John’s and Chick-Fil-A will be handing out free food and drink samples to all participates while supplies last. Meanwhile, WLBC 104.1 FM will be broadcasting live from Scheumann Stadium during the festivities.
Thanks to a partnership with the Ball State Office of Community Engagement, several local community partners will also have a presence at the event. Those community partners include the Boys & Girls Club of Muncie, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Safe Kids Delaware County/IU Health Trauma Department, the David Owsley Museum of Art, the Charles W. Brown Planetarium, the Dr. Joe and Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse & Christy Woods, Cornfed Derby Dames, Meridian Health and MITS.
