Back to the Basics Yoga Workshop

Come spend a chilly afternoon in the warmth of the Lotus Yoga Studio where you’ll be guided through the classic yoga asanas of Warrior I & II, Triangle, Bridge, etc. The class will focus on proper alignment and breathing and will close with a 30 minute restorative practice.
A suitable class for beginners and experienced students who want to bring their practice back to the root to ensure proper and safe practice.
About the Instructor:
Libby began practicing yoga in Muncie, IN, with Shari Flanders in 2009. While on sabbatical from her position at the Ball State University School of Music, in 2015, she spent a month taking classes at the Iyengar Institute in London. There, she became passionate about Iyengar’s emphasis on safety and proper alignment. In 2017, after going through a very stressful period in her life, she knew it was time to go deeper in her practice and later that year she received her 200- hour certification through Lotus and City Yoga under the instruction of Marsha Pappas. Libby looks forward to sharing the mind/body connection of yoga with all of her students.
Libby now teaches weekly at Lotus Yoga Studio on Thursday evenings.
