Indiana Bicentennial Film Festival

The Delaware County Historical Society is proud to announce an upcoming Indiana Bicentennial Film Festival. In honor of Indiana’s 200 year anniversary of becoming a state, the DCHS is assembling a collection of short films, features, and documentaries from filmmakers across Indiana. The event is free and open to the public.
The Delaware County Historical Society is currently accepting submissions from filmmakers in the state of Indiana, films shot in Indiana, or films with subjects that deal specifically with Indiana if you have a film about Indiana, we want to see it!
There is no submission fee and no minimum length requirement. Submissions should not exceed 90 minutes in running time. We are looking for films made in Indiana, about Indiana, or made by Hoosiers to screen at the event.
Submissions must be sent to the DCHS by March 15. Full details may be found here.
The film festival will take place over two days beginning at 6:30pm on Friday, May 20th at Cornerstone Center for the Arts in Muncie and 4:30pm on Saturday, May 21st in the second floor of the Heorot in downtown Muncie.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Delaware County Historical Society’s mission seeks to enrich the lives of the people in Delaware County, Indiana through the preservation and interpretation of our heritage. Along with maintaining the MooreYouse Home Museum, the DCHS works actively in the restoration of pioneer cemeteries in Delaware County, provides historical research upon request, and supports individuals engaged in genealogical research.
