Featuring Guest Vocalist Myles Ogea.
Returning to the BSU Arts Terrace in Muncie for 2019, is the America’s Hometown Band jazz concert that celebrates Big Band swing music and its fabulous crooners – on Thursday, July 18, at 7:30 pm. This Free, Public, Outdoor Concert is created and presented by the Big Band/Jazz Band specialists of AHB. The Guest Vocal Performer for this popular event is back-home-again-in Indiana, BSU-trained Myles Ogea. He will be recreating that Crooner charm made famous by the likes of Sinatra, Darin, Crosby, Martin, and Buble.
AHB assistant musical directors Will Frazier and Phil Cooley bring together their top-notch brass, woodwind, and rhythm sections, plus exciting, heartfelt vocals, for an outstanding program of Big Band Swing sounds and moods. Bring family, friends, and lawn seating/snacks/dancing shoes to the Ball State University Arts Terrace greenspace, on the quad between 2000 West Riverside & University Avenues on the Muncie campus.
It’s great evening of Live Music in Muncie, with Free admission to all. FREE PARKING after 7 pm, as indicated in several nearby BSU lots and parking structures.
