The Radio JOVE Project at Ball State Virtual Event

June 12 @ 11:00 am

Students at Ball State are working with the astronomer, Dr. Todd Vaccaro, to build and use a “Decametric Radio Telescope” through NASA’s Radio JOVE Project. This project engages students, allowing them to observe and analyze natural radio emissions of celestial objects like Jupiter, the Sun, and our galaxy. Come learn more about this project and why Jupiter is of such great interest to radio astronomers. Watch live at www.facebook.com/brownplanetarium/live on Friday, June 12 at 11 am ET. Can’t catch it live? Visit the page after the event ends to see a recording of it. This presentation is apart of the Brown Planetarium’s #YourUniverse Virtual Series.
