Formed in the late 1980s in Muncie, Indiana when several Ball State University students formed to make one of the midwest’ most successful acts. Touring with John Mellencamp in the late 1990’s and making the charts with hits such as “Lack Of Water” The Why Store is definitely a throwback to a time when music was a bit more honest… singer/songwriter Chris Schaffer’s emotionally driven tracks will leave you asking for more!
