Wicked Plants The Exhibit
January 19 @ 9:00 am - May 19 @ 6:00 pm
Inspired by Amy Stewart’s best-selling book, “Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln’s Mother and other Botanical Atrocities” Wicked Plants is a fun-filled, family-friendly look at some of the world’s most dangerous plants, many of which are commonly found in homes and gardens. Exciting interactives fill a Victorian-era ramschackled home, where visitors move from room-to-room uncovering secrets and learning about the history, science, and legend of various medicinal and poisonous plant life. The Wicked Plants exhibit is funded by The North Carolina Arboretum Society and the Creel-Harison Foundation.
