Red Ribbon Community Breakfast

This year’s Community Red Ribbon Breakfast will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 7:30AM – 9:30AM at the Horizon Convention Center. Tickets to attend this event are $25.00 each or $200 for a Reserved table of 8 tickets. Keynote Speaker, DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge-Greg Westfall and a performance by the Delaware County PRIDE Team. We will be having for the first time ever a Silent Auction.

Ann Johnson, local artist and former owner of F.B. Fogg, will teach simplified techniques for creating a beautiful watercolor masterpiece from start to finish in her "Dancing with a Brush" class. Her professional experience enables her to teach novices as well as advanced painters in the same setting. You’ll learn something new in each session, no matter your skill level. Beginning Needlepoint (NOV)

In this class, you’ll learn the techniques and stitches necessary to finish the project provided in class. The November 13 session focuses on a Bargello needlepoint project. Bargello is one of the easiest forms of needlepoint that consists of just one simple straight stitch. It is repeated in different colors and positions on the canvas to create striking patterns. A painted canvas and supplies are provided. Taught by Linda Burkhardt, owner, Elegant Needleworks, Inc.
