TreeHouses – Look Who’s Living in the Trees
Hang out in the trees in this hands-on exhibit. Step foot into an indoor treehouse, experiment with the technology that builds treehouses, and conduct forest research high in the treetops. TreeHouses offers creative ways to explore the important roles that trees play in providing homes for all sorts of wild things (including people!). As part of the annual Yorktown Fourth of July Celebration, The Town of Yorktown and The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce are proud to present this four-mile run/walk in an effort to raise awareness and support for the trail systems in Yorktown. America’s Hometown Band performs the real thing - lots of live volume for everyone’s favorite patriotic tunes. The National Anthem, God Bless America, and lots more, ending with the fabulous John Philip Sousa march ‘Stars and Stripes Forever - with the brass sections on their feet to belt out the last rousing refrain. Muncie Downtown Development Partnership will host outdoor After Hours Art Reels following the First Thursday. Films will be projected onto the MutualBank wall on Charles St at dusk. Seating will be available on the Fickle Peach patio area located at 117 E Charles St for guests who are 21 and up. Viewers who are not yet 21 can watch the films from the sidewalk surrounding the patio area.

Reminisce Band is composed of "hometown boys" who have been playing together for 14 years. This band is very popular; we have had sell-out tickets each time they have been here. Meridian’s 14th annual Fam Fest – Back-to-School – will be held from 1—5 pm on July 14 at our Meridian School Clinic site—Southside Middle School in Muncie.
